ウミガメ星雲

 オリオン座から北に位置する散光星雲。

 ウミガメが泳ぐ姿のように見えることから名づけられた。

 1980年、天文学者のベルナルド・クラウゼによって発見された。

 The Sea Turtle Nebula is a diffuse nebula located north of Orion. The name comes from the fact that it looks like a sea turtle swimming. It was discovered by astronomer Bernard Krause in 1880.
